CSUP Game Night 2017 organized by the students of the Computer Society of the University of Peradeniya (CSUP) in collaboration with the Department of Statistics and Computer Science was held at the Science Faculty Common Room on the 7th of September 2017 at 6.30 p.m. onwards. The main aim of the event was to introduce CSUP to the new students of the Faculty of Science. 14 teams representing students and temporary academic staff members of the Faculty of Science took part in the event. The inauguration ceremony was held with the participation of Prof. Saluka Kodituwakku (Dean, Faculty of Science), Dr. Amalka Pinidiyarachchi (Head, Department of Statistics and Computer Science), Dr. Shelton Perera, Dr. Ruwan Nawarathna (Senior Treasurer, CSUP), Mr. Prabhath Gunathilake and Past members of CSUP. The team, Hindagala Uppers (Amila Nakandala, Rupika Ekanayaka, Budhdima Amarathunga, Shakya Ranasinghe, and Asanka Weerasuriya) emerged as champions. Also, the team, DeMonsters ( Bhashithe Abeysinghe, Isuru Dharmasena, and Ahmed Shariff) and the team, Inhumans (Ramesh Kavinda, Nuwan Priyankara, Asela Chandrasekara, Harindu Ravihansa, and Janith Dasanayake) won the 1st and 2nd runner up places, respectively.

CSUP Game Night 2017 concluded successfully with very positive feedback from the participants.
